(Washington, D.C.) According to a release in Washington, D.C. from Congressman Chris Deluzio’s office, Deluzio (D-PA-17) marked the three-year anniversary of the Norfolk Southern train derailment yesterday by joining with Members of Congress from both parties, union leaders, and local leaders to call for Congress to pass rail safety legislation. Deluzio called for the Railway Safety Act of 2025, which is his bill, to pass through committee or to be included in the upcoming Surface Transportation Reauthorization.
