(Beaver Falls, PA) A Cranberry Township man has now pleaded guilty to 20 charges for a crash that killed two people and seriously injured a third in Beaver Falls on June 29th, 2025. Online court records confirm that forty-six-year-old Israel Tun Cooch entered the plea on Tuesday. The crash occurred at the intersection of Seventh Avenue and 11th Street and killed 23-year-old Sheylee Young-Davis and 25-year-old Matthew Lance Jr. Carrie Koch was also severely injured after being pinned under one of the vehicles while she was walking home from working at Athen’s Family Restaurant. Two counts of third-degree murder were withdrawn. Prosecutors claimed the blood alcohol level of Cooch was more than twice the legal limit and officers also testified that they found both open and empty beer bottles inside the truck. There were concerns initially that Cooch would be deported before the justice was served, because investigators discovered that he was in the United States without legal immigration status. A sentencing hearing for Cooch has not been scheduled yet.
