New Galilee teenager has charges withdrawn after causing a single-vehicle crash in Lawrence County

(Lawrence County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in New Castle reported via release yesterday that charges were withdrawn from a seventeen-year-old boy from New Galilee after he caused a single-vehicle crash in Lawrence County on the evening of January 2nd2026. At 7:56 p.m., the teenager was driving in Little Beaver Township near Haggerty Road on State Highway 351, and after an investigation, it was confirmed that he hit the brakes when a deer ran across the road. The teenager then hit an embankment after going off of the road and there were no injuries as a result of this crash.
