(Aliquippa, PA) A GoFundMe is now available to support Cesina’s Sausage Company in Aliquippa after a fire broke out at that company’s building. Fire crews were called to the business located along Kennedy Boulevard just before 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon. The owner of Cesina’s Sausage Company told KDKA that he was not there when the fire broke out, but was shocked to find smoke billowing from his building. The owners do not know what caused the fire that damaged the buildingHowever, they are planning to work with their insurance company to replace the expensive equipment that was damaged by soot and water. Cesina’s Sausage Company has operated for over 100 years in Aliquippa and is also a supplier for the Beaver County Maple Syrup and Music Festival.
