Large piece of ice blowing off of tractor-trailer causes woman from Hermitage, Pennsylvania to crash her vehicle in North Sewickley Township

(North Sewickley Township, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Gibsonia reported via release today that thirty-four-year-old Caitlyn Bailey of Hermitage, Pennsylvania caused a single-vehicle crash in North Sewickley Township on Thursday afternoon at around 3:34 p.mThis incident happened in the area of Exit 10 on I-76 West. Bailey told PSP Gibsonia officers who were dispatched to the scene of the crash that a large piece of ice blew off the top of a tractor trailer and hit the front of her car. Bailey was not injured as a result of this crash and the lower front bumper of her van had moderate damage because of the ice.
