(Washington, D.C.) According to a release on Friday from The Transportation Security Administration, the TSA is expecting to screen more than 17.8 million people from Tuesday, November 25th to Tuesday, December 2nd, with over 3 million just on Sunday, November 30th. Over three million travelers were screened on nine of the top ten highest volume days in the history of the Transportation Security Administration and eight of the highest volume days have occurred in 2025 alone. The current daily volume of the TSA in 2025 is about 2.48 million, which is compared to 2.47 million in 2024 and this is a representation of an increase every day of about 14,000 travelers each day in 2025 over 2024.
