Former UPMC Children’s Hospital doctor arrested as part of a sex sting in Florida

(Martin County, FL) According to authorities, a former doctor who worked at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh was arrested in an undercover child sex sting in Florida. That person was thirty-eight-year-old Mohamed Mesregah, who the Florida attorney general confirms was one of six people recently arrested in an operation which targeted people that sexually exploited children online. Investigators confirmed that the suspects posed as fourteen-year-old girls on an online escort website. Mesregah has charges including using a computer to seduce, solicit, lure or entice a child, traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony and a UPMC spokesperson states that he had been fired from his position at UPMC Children’s Hospital.
