(Miami, FL) Thirty-seven-year-old Harvey Scott of Wilkinsburg was arrested yesterday near Miami, Florida by the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Task Force. Scott was charged with homicide and possession of a firearm by Allegheny County Police and they stem from an incident in which eighteen-year-old Deglin St. Clair died on June 18th, 2025 after being shot in Wilkinsburg that evening. According to a release from the U.S. Marshals Service, Scott was taken into custody after a foot chase after he fled from a residence. Scott also was wanted for a parole violation warrant from a 2015 homicide that occurred in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh by
the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
