Here’s the Concert 4Cast, a look at the 4 biggest concerts in the Pittsburgh area this upcoming week.
1. Chicago plays Moon on Wednesday.
That’s the horn-fueled, classic-rock band Chicago, known for hits like “Saturday in The Park” and “25 or 6 to 4,” headlining the UPMC Events Center.
It’s an evening with Chicago (so no opening acts) starting at 8 p.m. Featuring original members Robert Lamm (keys and vocals); Lee Loughnane (trumpet and backing vocals) and James Pankow, (trombone and vocals), Chicago take the stage around 8 p.m. Tickets are $89 to $127.

2. Turnpike Troubadours take the Parkway East to Pittsburgh, ready to entertain fans Thursday at the Petersen Events Center.
The honky-tonk band featured multiple times on TV’s “Yellowstone,” Turnpike Troubadours are joined by the bluegrass-influenced band Trampled By Turtles.
Singer-songwriter Leon Majcen starts the show at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $87-$112 for the floor, $52-$70 for second-level seats.

3. Bluegrass sensation Billy Strings looks to delight fans at two sold-out nights at PPG Paints Arena on Friday and Saturday.
The 33-year-old guitar and banjo master most recently played Pittsburgh in December 2023, at the Petersen Events Center.
4. Paul McCartney gets back to where he once opened a Pittsburgh arena.
Specifically, the Beatles legend on Tuesday headlines PPG Paints Arena, the venue he christened with an amazing 2010 performance.
Resale tickets are available but not cheap, starting at $324 for upper bowl, and $360 for the lower bowl. For superfans with lots of money, there’s the option of a couple front-row resell tickets currently on the market for $4,000 apiece.
