(Pittsburgh, PA) Howard Hawkins was found guilty yesterday of first-degree murder for killing eighteen-year-old Ahmir Tuli in the Strip District of Pittsburgh on February 21st, 2021. Tuli, an alumnus of North Hills High School, was shot to death four years ago outside of Tuli’s mother’s restaurant, the Preeti’s Pitt. Hawkins, who is also guilty of carrying a firearm without a license, faces a mandatory sentence of life in jail for the killing of Tuli.
