(Pittsburgh, PA) A former Beaver County power plant was mentioned in the pack of investments announced at the Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. According to an announcement from Frontier Group that day, $3.2 billion will change the former Bruce Mansfield coal powerplant in Shippingport into a power station for natural gas. Over 300 jobs that are permanent and 15,000 jobs for construction are expected to be created from this project.
