Cranberry Township man facing multiple charges in fatal Beaver Falls crash

(Beaver Falls, Pa) The City of Beaver Falls Police Department issued a press release Sunday evening regarding a fatal accident that took place Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 3:20pm, responders were called to an accident at 11th Street and 7th Avenue involving a grey Dodge pickup, red Nissan, and a pedestrian.

The report states that a 23 year old female who was the passenger of the Nissan died on scene. The 25 year old male driver of the vehicle was taken from the scene but died shortly after.

The pedestrian was stated to be a 48 year old female who was pinned under the Nissan. She was transported to the hospital for severe injuries.

The driver of the Dodge pickup has been identified as 45 year old Israel Tun Cooch of Cranberry Township.

He has been charged with multiple counts of Homicide with Vehicle DUI, Aggravated Assault with Vehicle DUI, Accident involving Death or Injury without license, in addition to other related charges.

Cooch was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital from the scene.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released and they say the accident is still under investigation.
