(Monaca, PA) The JCPenney store at the Beaver Valley Mall in Monaca will close this year. According to employees of that store, September 17th, 2025 is the closing date. Officials confirm that a lease that was expired was the reason that the JCPenney store at the Beaver Valley Mall will close. This store was removed from a list of JCPenney stores that were going be closed in July of 2020 even though JCPenney filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May of 2020.
