(Pittsburgh, PA) Allegheny Health Network launched their new Primary Care Sports Nutrition Program to improve both the health and performance of student-athletes. Student–athletes that are between twelve and eighteen-years old will be provided with both services in sports nutrition and diet plans for recovery and performance. Certain dietary restrictions like vegan food as well as needs for diets like food for diabetes management will also be incorporated for athletes that need them.
