According to the police report, Aliquippa Police received a call for shots fired at 7:10 p.m. in Linmar Terrace. When officers arrived on scene  they discovered a male had been shot.. Police secured the area, the victim was rendered aid by the fire department and EMS. Hopewell Police assisted at the scene and the male was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment. Aliquippa Police turned  over the investigation  to state police.
