Beaver County Humane Society Discovers Bullet Lodged In Dog’s Jaw

The Beaver County Humane Society is caring for a dog that suffered a gunshot wound. The dog was found roaming the streets in Aliquippa last month. The dog had a lump on its jaw that was originally thought to be a tumor or a cyst. When a veterinarian went to remove it, it was discovered that it was a bullet. Former Teleforum host and Beaver County Humane Society Communications Liason Mike Romigh appeared on Teleforum this morning and said that Eli is doing quite well, considering what he’s been through. Romigh says Eli’s prognosis is excellent. The Humane Society’s executive director, Susan Salyards, also appeared on Teleforum this morning, asking anyone willing to provide a foster home for the dog to visit their website. Both guests appeared on the show as part of the Huntington Business Spotlight segment on Teleforum. The organization’s website address is: Beaver-County-Society-dot-org.
