Kennywood and Idlewild holding Fall Hiring Events this month

Kennywood and Idlewild are holding fall hiring events this month gearing up for both parks’ popular Halloween events set to begin in September. Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest comes out of the shadows for six weekends of spooky and scary fun beginning Friday, September 22. Idlewild’s, kid-friendly Halloween event, HALLOWBOO, will run Saturdays and Sundays, beginning September 23.

Idlewild’s Fall Hiring Event – Thursday, August 17 from 4 – 6 p.m.

Kennywood’s Fall Hiring Event – Monday, August 28 from 5 – 8 p.m.

At Kennywood, park leaders are looking to fill more than 250 positions to bring the fall fun and frights to the extreme with bigger scares and even more Halloween fun during Kennywood’s 125th season.

Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest will be bigger and better than ever before in 2023. Come for family-friendly fun and your favorite coasters and rides during the day and stay for the extreme screams when the sun goes down, with upgraded haunted houses and scare zones.

To prepare for the return of HALLOWBOO, the park is currently filling more than 50 positions in Food & Beverage and Operations. With flexible hours and growth opportunities, Idlewild offers unique positions for everyone including those looking to make additional money ahead of the holiday season, teens looking for a weekend job, and more.

HALLOWBOO features trick-or-treating through Story Book Forest, costumed characters, themed rides and attractions, a haunted train ride, kid’s mazes and more. This season, there will be a variety of spooktacular live entertainment including meet and greets with Cinderella, Daniel Tiger and even a ghoulish interactive dance party at the Hillside Theater.
