(Monaca, Pa.) The Beaver Valley Mall parking lot was the setting for the 3rd Annual Back to School “Touch a Truck” event. There were Trucks from various industries plus a variety of Emergency vehicles that the children and their families could actually touch. The kids were honking horns, blow sirens and getting the chance to sit in the drivers seat. There were other activities and prize give aways by some of the malls retailers. Beaver County Radio’s Frank Sparks, host of Teleforum and Ed Hermick did a live broadcast during the Eric Mc Kenna show and Solid Gold Saturday. The personality prize wheel was manned by Beaver County Radio intern Kristian Beiga. The Beaver County Radio Pittsburgh Pirates Treasure Chest was also on hand for the event. This is just one of the many events and sales that the Beaver Valley has planned.
