The Pirates go for sweep this afternoon in San Francisco. Jung Ho Kang’s  eighth inning home run won  Tuesday’s night game 4-3.  The win put the Pirates one game behind the St Louis Cardinals and in a tie with the Miami Marlins for the second wild card  spot.  Miami lost to Cincinnati  6-3 while the Cardinals beat Houston 8-5.  The Pirates open a three game series with the Marlins starting Friday night at PNC Park.
