The Beaver Bobcats softball squad scored in the first inning of their WPIAL Championship against Elizabeth forward and never looked back as they won their 40th consecutive game with a 6-0 victory in the Class 4A title game at California University of Pennsylvania. Payton List struck out fourteen batters to pick up the win, adding two hits to help her own cause.

Both teams advance to the PIAA softball playoffs which begin on Monday, June 6.
