(Beaver Falls, PA) The “Run For McGuire” committee had a meeting on Thursday evening June 29 to work on this year’s annual charity motorcycle ride fund raiser, which is happening on August 6, 2017. The group gathered at the Beaver County radio offices on 7th avenue in Beaver Falls and posed for a picture afterwards. Among other new things added for the upcoming event is a “Go Fund Me” account that can be found here.
In the past three years, over $8,000 has been raised from net net proceeds from the motorcycle ride to support the ongoing mission of caring for “God’s Entrusted Treasures” at McGuire Memorial. This year’s ride is $15 per driver and $10 per passenger and includes a Celebration picnic afterwards in Big Rock Park in New Brighton provided by Texas Road House in Monaca. Registration forms can be downloaded and printed here.
The route for this year’s ride was announced by committee member John Harvey. It is a 59 mile trek that travels through Lawrence and Beaver Counties, starting at WBVP-WMBA in Beaver Falls and ending at Big Rock Park in New Brighton.
