Vincent “Vince” S. Biros, 66, of Baden, passed away at home on November 18th, 2024, after a three-year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He was surrounded by his loving sisters during his final moments.
He was born on July 7, 1958, a son of the late Vera and Lawrence Biros. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Larry and his daughter Kali Marie. He is survived by his loving sisters and caretakers, Debra Tallon of Conway and Laurene Brawdy (Edward) of Freedom, his daughter Abbey Pugh (Paul), his son Vincent, his granddaughter Avery, his grandson Austin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Vince was a 1977 graduate of Freedom High School. He worked as a cement laborer with Union 373 in Pittsburgh for 35 years, retiring in 2021. Vince had a passion for fishing and was a huge Steelers and Penguins fan.
A special thank you to April Leggs, a neighbor and friend to Vince and his sisters, for all of her love and support; the Concordia Visiting Nurses; the nurses and staff at Sewickley Valley Hospital’s 7th Floor Observation Unit, who took great care of Vince during his many visits; Good Samaritan In-Home Hospice Care; the EMTs and staff with Economy Ambulance Service; dear friends Ron and Mary Lehocky; and the many families and friends who prayed for Vince during his illness.
Family and friends will be received at the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral and Cremation Services, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, on Thursday, November 21st, from 2 P.M. until the Blessing Service at 6 P.M. Vince will be laid to rest alongside his parents at Calvary Cemetery in Freedom.
