Velva L. Krepps (1930-2025)

Velva L. Krepps, 94, of Brighton Township, passed away on May 24th, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Brighton Township on June 22nd, 1930, a daughter of the late Harold and Eva Bryner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Krepps and her sisters, Grace Hart, Betty DeVaux, and Dorothy Brooks. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Anne) Krepps of Tucson, Arizona, Richard (Rose) Krepps of Brighton Township and George Krepps of Brighton Township, her step-daughter, Marilyn “Penny” (Robert) Brumbaugh of West Palm Beach, Florida, her brother, Harold “Bill” Bryner of Brighton Township, her sister, Diana Williams of Ravenswood, West Virginia, her grandchildren: James (Leona) Krepps, Michael (Sarah Jane) Krepps, Matthew (Ina) Krepps, Salena Krepps, and Joshua Krepps; as well as her great-grandchildren, Otto and Cassius Krepps and Lenore Krepps.

Velva was a resident of Brighton Township for her entire life. She was a faithful member of Four Mile Church of Beaver, where she served as a Deacon and had many active roles in the church. She had worked and retired from the former Beaver Trust, after working for over 20 years in both the Beaver and Brighton Township branches. Velva volunteered for the Red Cross and Crimson Auxiliary at Friendship Ridge and loved to make and share baskets, which she would often demonstrate at craft shows.

Friends will be received in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, on Sunday, June 1st from 12 noon to 4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, June 2nd at 11 a.m. at Four Mile Church, 6078 Tuscarawas Road, Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
Interment will take place with her husband at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville.
