Thomas Wayne Jurkowski, 72, of Beaver, passed away on November 10th, 2025, in Ambridge. He was born on June 27th, 1953, a son of the late Cyril and Sabina Jurkowski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melvina Jurkowski and his brother, Cyril Jurkowski, Jr. He is survived by his children, Valerie Malack, Douglas Jurkowski and Mark Jurkowski, a grandson, Colin Malack, a devoted partner, Kimberly Wright and a special group of friends.
Thomas was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Church in Monaca and Mary Queen of Saints Parish, where his faith was an important part of his life. He was known for his friendly and easygoing nature, and genuine kindness. He graduated from Ambridge Area High School and went on to Penn State University, earning a bachelors degree in accounting. He was an avid golfer and tennis player who spent many happy hours on the course and courts playing with friends and family. He was also a proud supporter of Penn State Football and Pittsburgh sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates, and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on.
Friends will be received on Thursday, November 13th from 4-7 P.M. at GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 340 3rd Street, Beaver, who was in charge of his arrangements, and where departing prayers will be offered on Friday, November 14th at 9:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, 1409 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca.
Interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery, Buffalo Street, Beaver.
