Teresa Ann Stobart, 67, of Industry, passed away on August 2nd, 2025. She was a loving mother to her son, James Tyler Word of Brookline, Massachusetts, and her daughter, Ariel Victoria Sullivan (Zach) of Copley, Ohio. Her role as a grandmother to Evalise, Ollie, and Sloane was one she cherished. She is also survived by a longtime companion, Scott Wilson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Margaret Stobart.
Following her graduation from Center Area High School, Teresa pursued her passion for healthcare by enrolling in an X-ray tech institute. Her caring nature found its true calling when she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her commitment to serving others led her to enlist in the U.S. Navy. From 1982 until 1985, Teresa honorably served her country, an experience that instilled in her a sense of pride and patriotism that remained a cornerstone of her identity. She was an avid gardener who found peace and solace in nature and her faith was a source of strength and pride. It guided her through life’s challenges and was a wellspring of hope and love. She enjoyed expressing herself through painting and drawing and her love for swimming was an important pillar of her life.
Private interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.
