Ronald Paul Evans (Passed on February 15th, 2025)

Ronald Paul Evans, 61, passed away of natural causes in his sleep on February 15th, 2025. He was a native of Center Township, a son of the late Maldwyn Jr. and Joan E. Evans. He is survived by his beloved daughter Alyx Evans and her fiancé Donovan Hinkle. He is also survived by his twin brother, Randy Evans (Michelle Mattie), and his sister, Terri (Jerry) Gumpf, his nieces, Courtney Gumpf and her husband, Nick Holnaider, along with their children Cole and Campbell, Chelsea and her husband, TC Cawley and their son Logan, as well as Taylor and Riley Evans, who will hold dear memories of their uncle. Ronald was a proud 1981 graduate of Center High School, where his passion for sports was evident in his dedication to the football team. His academic and athletic pursuits led him to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 1985. Ronald’s professional life was marked by his work ethic as a sales representative for industrial products and later shared his craftsmanship as a painter. His commitment to his trade was underscored by his membership in the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers of Pittsburgh Local 9 and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.

His spiritual devotion was notable, dedicating daily to Bible study. His love for the outdoors was unmistakable. He cherished the summers spent at Geneva on the Lake. He was also an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman who found solace in the embrace of nature. His enthusiasm for sports was not limited to participation, as an avid sports fan, following his favorite teams with fervor and loyalty.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23rd from 1-6 p.m. at Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where services will be held on Monday, February 24th at 11 am. Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
