Mary E. McConaughy 84, of Center Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Concordia Villa St. Joseph, Baden after a long battle with cancer.

Born October 2, 1939, in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late Lee W. and Martha (Doyle) McConaughy.

She was a 1957 graduate of Mt. Gallitzin H. S. in Baden. She retired from Westinghouse Eaton Corp in Beaver with 47 years of service and was a member of IBEW local 201. An avid bowler, she bowled in various leagues in Beaver County, she was president of the BCWBA. In 2001, she was inducted into the Beaver County Bowlers HOF and in 2011, was inducted into the PA State Bowlers HOF. She was proud of those achievements. She enjoyed going to flea markets, the casinos and playing cards with friends. She was Catholic by faith.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 4 brothers, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 great-nephews, 3 sisters-in-law and 4 brothers-in-law.

Mary is survived by a sister, brother-in-law, and brother; also, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the doctors and the staff for their care and concern during her illness.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 13th from 2PM until 6PM in the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (Branch), 340 Third Street, Beaver.

A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
