Mark E. Monac (1967-2024)

Mark E. Monac, 56, of New Brighton, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born November 19, 1967, in East Liverpool, Ohio. He was the son of the late Philip and Judith Tanner Monac. Mark was preceded in death by his close friends, Craig Rawl, Bob Roush, Paul Short and step daughter Jackie Rock.
Mark attended the Church of the Nazarene, New Brighton, PA. Mark loved fishing and playing basketball.
Mark is survived by one daughter and son in law, Kaylin and Chad Carpenter, New Brighton, three sons and daughter in law, Vance and Lexi Shuler of Koppel, Dawson Monac of New Castle, Noah Hanshaw of Vanport, three granddaughters, Korra Carpenter, Nova Shuler, Emma Shuler, one grandson, Xavier Bacon, four sisters and two brothers in law, Charlotte Monac, Julie and Robert Merriman, Monica and Don Shuler, all of New Brighton, Angel Chamberlain of East Liverpool, two brothers and three sisters in law, Anthony and Leighann Monac, Rochester, Mario and Gretchen Monac of New Brighton, Conny Monac of Beaver, one uncle and aunt, Stanley and Linda Tanner of New Brighton, a special cousin, James Tanner of Beaver, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday, March 18, 2024, from 4-7 in The William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester, PA. , where a service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11 A.M., officiating will be Rev. Donald MacNeil. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
Family wishes memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
The family wishes to thank the nurses of Good Samaritan Hospice and his niece, Kathy Hummel, for their care and comfort given to Mark.
