Leta R. Downs (Wills), 90, of Livingston, Texas, passed away on February 18th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Missouri, the daughter of the late Claude V. Wills and Selina H. Wills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John T. Downs Sr. and her daughter, Selina A. Cidade. She is survived by her children, John P. Downs III of Livingston, Texas and Charles P. Downs, her sister, Charlotte Dickinson, her son-in-law, Eduardo Cidade and many other cherished relatives and friends.

Leta spent her career as a talented Mechanical Assembler, working for Raytheon Aerospace. She was a dedicated and hardworking individual who took great pride in her work. She received her education at the high school level and was known for her intelligence, kindness, and devotion to her family.

Leta’s funeral arrangements are being handled by Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. In accordance with her wishes, all arrangements are private.
