Kathryne Laura D’Antonio, 70, of Center Township, passed away on November 10, 2024 at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Charles and Janet (McCowin) McGaffick. She is survived by her loving husband Robert, son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Jennifer D’Antonio, daughter and son–in-law, Valarie and Kenny Mason, grandchildren, Salvatore D’Antonio and Kenny and Grady Mason, and sisters Wendy Shultz (John), Lynn Mummey (Glenn), and Carol Zimny (Ron Moore). For the last 21 years she has enjoyed her titles as Aunt Kathie, Kathie Gram and Mema.
Kathryne was a fitness instructor who was an inspiration for many women both physically and mentally. She enjoyed playing sports and outdoor activities. Most importantly she was a devoted wife who supported her husband Robert D’Antonio for 48 years and mother who showed endless love for her son and daughter. She never missed an opportunity to cheer her children and grandchildren on to greatness. Kathie’s sparkling eyes, infectious smile and big heart led her to be loved by all and will be forever missed.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 14th at 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. A Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 15th at First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa, 2816 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, followed by a celebration of life. Committal is in Seceder United Presbyterian Cemetery, 681 Georgetown Road, Darlington, at 1:30 p.m.
