Judith L. Crawford, age 83, of Weirton WV, formerly of Sewickley, passed away January 27th, 2024, in the Fox Nursing Home, Chester, WV. Judith was born August 28th, 1940, in Beaver Falls. She’s the daughter of the late John L., Sr. and Amy M. (Day) Crawford. Judith was a retired educator having taught in various catholic schools in Pittsburgh and Seoul, Korea. Along with her brother John, she was a co-founder of the Montessori school in Emsworth PA. Judith received her B. S. Degree at Duquesne University and her master’s in education from Penn State University. She was catholic by faith. She’s survived by 5 nephews and 1 niece. Judith was preceded in death by her brother, John L. Crawford Jr. in 1994 and a sister, Gean C. McNees. Her wishes were to have no viewing. However friends and family are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial, Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 10 AM in the St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester.
