Joseph P. Feltes, Sr., 75, of Hopewell Township, peacefully passed away with his cherished family by his side on August 12th, 2025. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 9th, 1949, a son of the late Edward Joseph and Agnes (Drake) Feltes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Schriner, and his grandson, EJ Feltes. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Diana (McDermott) Feltes, his children, Dawn (John) Leigh and Joseph (April) Feltes, Jr., his sisters, Priscilla, Kathy, and Gerri, his brother, Alan Ward and eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Joseph honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated member of Chapter 862 of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and retired from American Bridge, where he worked for many years as a burner. Joseph cherished spending time with his family and friends and found joy in fishing and hunting. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th, from 2 P.M. until the time of a prayer service at 5 p.m. and on Friday, August 15th from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, who was in charge of his arrangements. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. with military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville.
Joseph will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who loved him.
