Joanne M. (House) Eppley, 94, of West Mayfield, died Saturday March 16, 2024.
Also lovingly known as “Joy”, she was born on May 26, 1929, in Rochester, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Eppley, son Thomas Eppley, granddaughter Jenna (Eppley) Clarke, great-grandson Liam Clarke, and two brothers Gerald and Larry House.
She is survived by her sons and a daughter James (Kathy) Eppley of White Township; Roger (Leigh) Eppley of Daugherty Township; Ryan Eppley of Pulaski Township; and Jeanine (Frank, Sr.)Bathgate of West Mayfield, grandchildren, Jamie Hill, Frank Bathgate, Jr., Nick (Megan) Bathgate, Leah Bathgate, and Ben (Danette) Palmer, great grandchildren, Brooke (Tyler) Rohm, Justin, Adaline, Jonathan, Madelyn, Reagan, Easton, Harlan, Saxon, and Alayna, a great-great grandson, Troy, a sister, Ruth (Bill) Seybert, and sisters-in-law, Judith House and Delores (Lawrence) Phillips and several nieces and nephews.
Joy was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Sanderbeck) House. She was a member of St. Augustine Parish of Beaver Falls. She retired as a waitress of 40 years from the Corner Tavern.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010, where prayers will be recited Thursday at 9:20 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Augustine Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls, PA.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery of Big Beaver Borough.
