Janice L. (Heitman) Swan Adamski, 86, passed away on October 18th, 2024. She was born on July 8th, 1938, in Aliquippa, the daughter of the late Virginia J. (Lux) Heitman Trehar and William H. (Bill) Heitman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband George W. Swan, her second husband, Charles Adamski, a daughter, Janice Louise and a granddaughter, Sara Morgan.
She is survived by her three loving children, David Alan (Susie), Michele Anne (Jim) and Mark Eric, four grandchildren, Melanie, Eric (Nikki), Kristina (Kevin), Amanda (Scott), and nine great-grandchildren: Ashley, Landon, Noah, Parker, Elizabeth, Camryn, Louise, Bohdi, and James.
Janice worked as a bus driver for the Hopewell School District for twenty years. She belonged to the House of Prayer Lutheran Church for many years. After her second marriage to Charles Adamski, she joined the Ohio U.P. Church in Hopewell, where she served as a Deacon. She was also one of the original members of The Neighborhood Saddle Club, where Janice and her first husband owned, and trail rode horses. She had a love for all animals and gave many of them a loving home.
All services were private. Janice was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony Mastrofransesco Funeral Home, Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa.
