James Barrie "Jim" Hooley (1944-2026)

James Barrie “Jim” Hooley, 81, of Midland, passed away on February 20th, 2026.

He was born in Rochester on June 15th, 1944, the son of the late James Patrick and Caroline Hooley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings. He is survived by his family and friends including his sons: Timothy (Donann) Hooley, Steven Hooley, Michael Hooley, and Kevin (Amanda) Hooley; as well as his former spouse, Barbara Hooley; grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Jenna, and Alexa Hooley, Steven “Cayne” Hooley, Damien and Dominic Hooley; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

James was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, having proudly wore his black and gold.
