Ivy Mae Welsh, 77, of Daugherty Township, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on June 30th, 2025, at Heritage Valley Sewickley after an extended illness.
She was born in Rochester on July 18th, 1947, a daughter of the late Gene and Elizabeth Smiley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Troy Welsh, her brothers, Bruce Smiley and Seth Smiley and her in-laws, Charles Sr. and Antonette Welsh. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 59 years, Charles Welsh Jr., her son, Jeffrey (Kirah) Welsh, her daughter, Lisa (James) Mooney, her sisters, Vicky (George) Gaskins and Dana (Tony) Ross, her grandchildren: Kylie (David) Wagner, Zachary (Hope Berneburg) Mooney, Shae (Edward) Stang, Aria (David) Medved; as well as her great-grandchildren: August, Aurora, Juniper, and Aiden. Ivy had worked for Anchor Hocking Glass. In accordance with Ivy’s wishes, all services were private.
