George Paul McLeod (1947-2025)

George Paul McLeod, 78, of Beaver Falls, passed away on December 12th, 2025. He was born in Beaver Falls on May 20th, 1947, a son of the late James and Martha McLeod. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen McLeod, his son, George McLeod Jr. and his wife Donyl, his daughter, Rachel Hickman and husband, Tim, his grandchildren: Devon, Xavier, Asher and Joshua McLeod, Taylor Hickman and fiancé Jade and granddaughter, Autumn Hickman; as well as his great grandchildren: Faye, Landon, Lukas, Azekial and Nah’tavaia; along with his brother, James McLeod and wife, Carol.

George spent 19 years at B&W steel Mill then went on to drive trucks for RL transfer until he retired in 2009. He was a proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also an avid sports guy and football was his favorite as he loved watching it and playing pick up games with his kids and grandkids in the neighborhood. He was also an avid runner who worked out every day, followed by a run. He loved music and writing his own songs and poems. He would think of lyrics as he would drive his triple trailer truck from Ohio to Chicago and back Monday through Friday. Most of all, he was the most loving husband, Father and Pappy he could be and loved his wife with all his heart. There will be a memorial visitation on Friday, December 19th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Corless-Kunselman Funeral Services, LLC, 3801 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, who was in charge of his arrangements, and where the Beaver County Special Unit will perform full military honors at 4 p.m.
