Ernie Wilson, 76, of Rochester, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 10, 2024. He is the son of the late Wayne and Gertrude Wilson. Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Diana Wilson, children, Mike (Cheryl) Wilson, Lorie (Mark) DeDominicis, grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyler Wilson, Hunter and Breana (Ian) Viscuso, great grandson, Rowan Baker. Ernie dedicated over thirty years of his life to Pittsburgh Tube Company, where his commitment and hard work were a cornerstone of his career. Outside of work, he found immense joy in a variety of hobbies that enriched his days. An avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer, Ernie embraced the outdoors with passion. His love for riding motorcycles and his skill in working on small engines spoke to his hands-on nature and mechanical prowess. Yet, amidst his pursuits, Ernie’s greatest happiness stemmed from moments spent with his family. He delighted in watching his grandson play football and treasured every opportunity to be with his family, including his great grandson. These moments of togetherness were the true highlights of his life, reflecting Ernie’s deep love and appreciation for his loved ones. Friends will be received on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM until time of blessing service at 7:00 PM, in the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549.
