Douglas Eric Cox (1965-2025)

Douglas Eric Cox, 60, formerly of New Brighton, passed away on December 11th, 2025 at the Beaver Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on June 25th, 1965 and was preceded in death by his father Donald E. Cox, and his nephew, Jeremee Vukich. He is survived by his mother, Pamela (Robbins) Cox, his sister, Christene Cox (Cory Souffrant), and their son, Parker Souffrant, his sister, Donna Cox and her daughters, Jessica Toliver and R’eonna (Hope) Valentine. Douglas was also a proud great uncle of Ka’Leah, Caleb, Noah, and Ariya.

Douglas was a graduate of New Brighton Area High School who spent his days doing what he loved the most. Spending time with his family and providing excellent care and companionship to his mother. He truly lit up a room with his excellent sense of humor. He was also a huge supporter of his Pittsburgh Sports teams and always cheered loud and proud for all to hear. As a self-proclaimed sports critic, he loved his Pittsburgh Teams, and he rarely missed any games. If a game wasn’t on, you could often find him exploring in the kitchen, showing off his cooking skills by feeding those he loved, singing and dancing to his bubble machine or rocking out in the car to Kiss. There was never a dull moment with him by your side. His hidden talent was being able to carry a tune to any song and any genre. He will be missed tremendously.

In addition, one final message he would pass along, LETS GO PENS!!!!
