Catherine “Cathy” Monach (1950-2025)

Catherine “Cathy” Monach, 75, of Chippewa, formerly of Midland, passed away unexpectedly, on December 12th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Rochester on August 7th, 1950, the daughter of the late Arthur and Rosemarie Mosticone Castelli. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law and their spouses, Bobbi and Christie Krafft, and Frances and Lou Steff. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ben, her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Scott Antoline, her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Sue and Ben Mauch, her brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Holly Castelli, her cherished granddaughters, Ally and Natalie Antoline, her nephews and their spouses, Thomas and Anna Toplak, and Gregory and Caroline Toplak, her nieces and their spouses, Lainey and Eric Phillips, Carley and Dave Brandon, and Casey and Andy Theobald and her great-nieces and nephews: Camila, Luna, Josephine, Miles, Edie, Dawsyn, Colbie, Beau, and Willa.

Catherine was strong in her faith, having been a member of the former Presentation Catholic Church, now St Augustine Parish. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach with her family, as well as shopping with anyone and everyone. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as having taken great pride in being an aunt and great aunt.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 17th from 2-7 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, who was in charge of her arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, December 18th at 10 a.m. at St. Blaise Catholic Church, 772 Ohio Avenue, Midland. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
