Carol L. (Duff) Sockaci, 68, of Darlington Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 30th, 2025, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless.
She was born in Ellwood City on May 23rd, 1956, a daughter of the late Floyd and Shirley (Majors) Duff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Zachary Stephen Sockaci and her niece, Amy Sockaci. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Zachary Sockaci, her children, Danielle (Dan) Luhrs, Jill (Matt) Glomb and Shawn Sockaci, her grandchildren: Colten Luhrs, Jarett Luhrs, Farrah Glomb, Marin Glomb and Stevie Sockaci; a brother, James (Sue) Duff, and a sister, JoAnn (Ed) Vano, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carol was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and those gathered around her table. She loved reading, online shopping, family vacations and entertaining.
The family would like to thank nurses and doctors at UPMC Passavant McCandless for their care during her illness.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 3rd from 1-3 P.M. & 5 P.M. until the time of services at 7 P.M. at the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.
Private interment will be in the Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
