Carol Ann Mayo, 79, of Economy Borough, passed away on March 24th, 2025 in Beaver Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation of South Beaver Township. She was born in Rochester on October 8th, 1945, a daughter of the late Peter and Cecilia Lagud Kiser. Carol was preceded in death by her husband John F. Mayo, a sister, Cheryl “Bounie” Smith and a brother-in-law, William “Bill” Anderson. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa M. and Eric Novosat, one son, John T. Mayo, four grandchildren, Ashton C. Mayo, Kathryn, Mia and Madilyn Novosat, one sister, Joyce “Cookie” Anderson of Virginia, three brothers-in-law, Frank and Karen Mayo, Ronald Mayo and Michael and Dawn Mayo and a brother-in-law, Douglas Smith of Arizona. Carol was a retired LPN for St. Joseph Convent of Baden. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church of Conway. Carol’s wishes were to be cremated with a Celebration of Life Memorial service for her and her late husband John, which will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery Columbarium, 761 Allendale Road, New Brighton. All arrangements have been entrusted to William Murphy Funeral Home Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester.
