Anne Medianowsky Walko, 100, passed away on July 2nd, 2025, at Masonic Village in Sewickley. She was born in Ambridge on August 28th, 1924, a daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Karpenic) Medianowsky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walko, her son, Joey Walko, four brothers: Michael (Tillie), John (Stella), Paul (Anne), and Frank (Helen); as well as three sisters, Helen Hlista (Pete), Mary Viti (Donald) and Tillie Hunter (John). She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Anne’s passion in life was spending time with her family and her devotion to God.  She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ambridge.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a visitation on Sunday, July 6th, from 1-5 P.M., in the John Syka Funeral Home Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where prayers will be offered on Monday, July 7th at 9:30 A.M., followed by a funeral service at 10 A.M., in Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 404 Sixth Street, Ambridge. Interment will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery of Ambridge.
