Members of the Automated Vehicle Coalition joined Tuesday in Harrisburg to praise a new law governing the future use of autonomous vehicles on Pennsylvania highways. The legislation sponsored by state Rep. Greg Rothman (R-Cumberland), would enable the use of highly automated vehicles in construction or work zones designated by PennDOT and would also empower motor carrier and military vehicles to travel in platoons without fear of being cited with a traffic violation.
