Police: Aliquippa Woman Conspired With Inmate On Murder Plot

A state prison inmate in Indiana County is suspected of conspiring with an Aliquippa woman on the outside to have a man killed. That’s what state police are saying today. The intended victim was not identified in a written statement announcing the arrests of 54-year-old Laraine Patterson of Aliquippa, and 48-year-old Gregory Rouzer on felony charges of solicitation and conspiracy to commit homicide. Rouzer was already serving time at SCI Pine Grove. He was scheduled to be arraigned on the new charges today by District Judge Susanne Stefee. Patterson is being held in the county jail on $75,000 bail as she awaits a preliminary hearing Feb. 29.
