The Penguins game scheduled for Sunday against the Washington Capitals at Verizon Center is currently still on, despite the massive storm expected to hit the East coast and potentially cripple the Washington D.C. area this weekend. The Capitals put out a statement this morning that said their games go on as scheduled, including Sunday’s 12:30 p.m. matinee against the Penguins. The Penguins, who host Vancouver at home on Saturday at 12:30, said they too will be keeping an eye on the situation.
