Hopewell Township Commissioners Approve Two Motions for 2023 Budget

(Hopewell Twp., Beaver County, Pa.)  The Hopewell Township Board of Commissioners met Monday night and approved the police pension plan  financial requirement. They also approved the Minimum Municipal Obligation for 2023.

A public hearing was held to hear comments on the conditional use application of Commissioner Barb Michna for a coffee  shop  in the R-3 residential district. The township has 45 days to respond to the request for the  approval of the coffee shop which is to be located at 2236 Brodhead Road.
Resident and school board member Bethany Pistorius  told the commissioners  it was an honor  to participate with the active shooter drill that police conducted on July 13, 2022, and the National Night Out program was conducted very well, she praised the police department.
A golf outing in support of the police for training will be held at Shadow  Lakes on Friday, September 9, 2022.
