(North Hills, Pa.) Former U.S. Rep. Melissa Hart a Republican, in an interview on KDKA-TV yesterday said she is running for governor of Pennsylvania next year. There are 12 declared candidates for the Republican nomination for governor.
Now Melissa Hart wants to do what no woman has ever done in Pennsylvania and become governor.
For ten years, Hart represented the North Hills in the state Senate in Harrisburg and then served another six years in Congress.

Hart will make a formal announcement of candidacy in January
