(Beaver, PA) At a trial in Beaver County Court from May 8 to May 12, 2023 before Judge Mitchell P. Shahen, Eduardo Avriles, 38 was found guilty of 45 criminal counts of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a child less than 13 years old, and unlawful contact with a minor in the jury trial.
The case started when a call went into PA Childline in 2019. North Sewickley Township Police conducted an extensive investigation. Forensic interviews of 4 minor children in Beaver and Lawrence Counties over a period of years.
Avriles is lodged in the Beaver County Jail. He will now undergo an evaluation as a possible Violent Child Predator.
In a release, DA Lozier said he wished to recognize North Sewickley Twp. Police Chief Jeff Becze, Beaver County Detective Daniel Viscuso, Child’s Place in Beaver Falls, Lawrence County Child Advocacy Center, and Assistant DA Leon Bouwers, who served as trial counsel, the DA reported.
