Beaver County Commissioners Closer To Hiring Solicitor

The Beaver County Commissioners have changed direction and are on the verge of hiring a part-time solicitor and a full-time assistant to replace the fired full-time Andrea Cantelmi and her assistant Jessica Sullivan, who resigned.  According to Beaver County Radio’s Greg Benedetti, the Commissioners have delegated the search for solicitor to human resources and a job offer has been made. Human resources is awaiting a response. At yesterday’s salary board meeting, the commissioners and controller David Rossi approved a salary between 70 to 90 thousand dollars for the part-time solicitor and 75-thousand for the assistant. Cantelmi was paid a few dollars shy of 115-thousand and Sullivan was paid 75-thousand.
